EMPOWER.

When we are able to feel Empowered, we truly begin to shift from a life where we are surviving, to one where we are thriving. My favorite part of being a therapist is when I get to witness this transformation that happens when people feel empowered and begin to believe in themselves, to find their voice, to build confidence, to embrace who they are now and who they want to be in the future.

Ashley Troszok, LMSW, Therapist and Owner at Balanced Life Counseling and Wellness.

“You've lost your muchness. You used to be much more... muchier.” — Mad Hatter

Life can be tough, sometimes leading to losing a sense of your muchness, or feeling that you are too much. You start to doubt yourself, try to make yourself small in order to appease others, and feel stuck in survival mode. My passion is empowering women to embrace their “muchness” and discover their their strength, voice, and sense of self.

My own love for travel, hiking, and spending time with my family reminds me of how healing it can be to step into the unknown and rediscover who we are. That same sense of curiosity and openness shapes how I approach therapy—with compassion, humor, and a belief that healing is always possible.

I offer both in-person and online/telehealth sessions for your convenience. In our work together, you’ll find a brave, compassionate space where you can process experiences, heal trauma, and move toward a life that feels balanced, confident, and full.

  • It really is an honor to build trust with a client. Most of the clients I work with have trauma histories and/or low self-confidence. It is amazing to see them start to recognize their own strengths and abilities, and to believe in themselves. Sometimes we need another person who can see us in a way we’re not yet able to see ourselves— someone who can hold the hope and confidence that things can change and who will empower us along the way. I appreciate being able to be this person for the people I work with.
