Restore.

"Restore: the definition of restore is ‘bring back (a previous right, practice, custom, or situation); reinstate.’ I feel that therapy is about restoring the person. Something was created inside of them that has been hiding who they are. In therapy, I feel I assist people in bringing them back to their self that they felt were missing."

Everyone’s journey through life is uniquely theirs. Life presents as a challenge and can take someone off course of their journey. I use a strength-based approach to help you navigate the difficulties of life. I will be alongside you during the difficulties that life provides and will offer a space where you can feel authentically yourself.

Throughout life I had to move frequently due to living in a military family. Due to frequent life adjustments, I understand first hand that change is hard and takes courage. My background working in the mental health field and in a medical setting has shown me that people have the bravery within to pursue their life’s goal.

What I treat: Trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes/transitions.

My primary treatment approach is adjusted to meet your specific needs. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing.
