Stronger Together.

"The therapeutic relationship is built on mutual trust and respect. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space where clients feel empowered to be their authentic selves, express their dreams, fears and lived experiences without judgement. Together we create a treatment plan that reflects each individual's unique goals, together we identify the barriers that stand in the way of achieving those goals, and together we break down those barriers into manageable pieces. We are stronger together when we know that someone hears us, challenges us and encourages us in becoming the best version of ourselves."

Feeling anxious, depleted or unmotivated, balancing multiple demands on your time and emotional energy takes a toll on your mental health and overall well-being. It can feel like an effort to get out of bed, put one foot in front of the other, much less find joy, purpose and value in your daily life. Reaching out for help takes strength and courage. It's easier to do nothing, ignore it, hope these feelings go away on their own or carry them silently until you reach a breaking point.

It can feel scary to take the first step toward getting help. We want to view ourselves as strong and capable. Partnering with a therapist can be one of the kindest and bravest things you do to care for yourself, restore your hope for the future and feel emotionally healthy and fulfilled. We can do this together!

Favorite Part of Being a Therapist: My favorite part of being a therapist is hearing people's stories. Every individual has a different story, from how they grew up, what impacted their lives, and what led them to seek therapy. Their stories can be happy, sad, tragic, captivating, ordinary and everything in between. Typically they are a mixture of all of the above. I want to hear your story, the parts you love and the parts you'd like to change. The parts that haven't been great, and the parts that have been downright difficult and life-changing. The parts that make you scared, proud, ashamed, and the parts that are challenging to talk about with friends and family. Every part of your story makes up who you are, but doesn't have to define who you are and who you want to be.
